Friend,

There are few things I love as much as my home state of Alabama. I grew up here. I was educated here. This is where my wife, Christy, and I are raising our daughters. Alabama is home – and it’s where I’ve met the best people I know. People like Doug Jones, who I have the privilege of working to re-elect.

We celebrated the bicentennial of our state this month – with joy as we looked at how far we’ve come, but we've also been reminded of how much we still have to do. Loving Alabama means being honest about our history and our current challenges. It means working for justice and defending voting rights. It means keeping hospitals open and working to improve maternal health outcomes for poor, rural, and black women. And it means standing together and building a better future for everyone.

And, friend, if you want to see the Senate follow Doug’s example and work across the aisle to accomplish things that matter to all of us, we need your support. The road to a Senate majority runs straight through Alabama – and Mitch McConnell is hard at work to unseat Doug.

We are out to prove that unity and hard work can beat division and extremism. I firmly believe that we will win – and that we will restore the Voting Rights Act, pass the Equality Act, and make history again in Alabama.

Join us.

Thank you,
