Hi it’s me, Gretchen Whitmer, and I’m going to get straight to the point

Michigan is one of the closest races in the country this year. And with just 18 days until Election Day, my race for governor is coming down to the wire.

Team – My administration has delivered results for Michigan: from fixing the damn roads, to boosting our economy, to making the largest investment in education in the state’s history, to using every tool in our toolbox to defend the right to safe, legal abortion.

Folks are calling this a “must-win” race, and believe me – it’s spot-on. If we don’t win, Michiganders – women, public school students and teachers, hardworking families, small business owners, workers – lose because Tudor Dixon’s dangerous agenda would drag Michigan backward.

Dixon has made it clear that she would reverse the progress we’ve made here in Michigan, spread conspiracy theories, and vowed to enforce Michigan’s extreme 1931 abortion ban.

It’s dangerous, but it’s not just happening here in Michigan. 60% of Americans will have an election denier on the ballot this year. And in states like Arizona, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, Democrats running for governor are facing far-right candidates who undermine trust in democracy and want to criminalize abortion.

National groups and special interests have spent millions of dollars to elect these extremists and attack me and my fellow governors. To beat them and their big-money allies, we’ll need a surge of grassroots support.
