We need your help! Volunteer to get out the vote for Measure L, which will greatly improve our roads and public transit!

With the election 18 days away, the campaign to pass Measure L is in full swing. Community members, Muni riders, SFTR members, and candidates gathered last weekend at Palou-Phelps Minipark in the Bayview to handout literature about Measure L in the surrounding community.

Building on this momentum, we’re gathering again this Sunday at Dolores & 19th St at 10am in collaboration with the Measure L campaign, the Alice B. Toklas Club, the Harvey Milk Club, and Rafael Mandelman to literature drop in surrounding neighborhoods. Sign up to join us by using the campaigns volunteer form!

Other Measure L mobilizations are also available with the campaign. Check the volunteer form for more details.

You do not need to be an SFTR member to join us — you just have to believe our city deserves better roads and public transit! (But you can also become a member at any time, with any donation level, by clicking here.)

Make your voice heard! Attend our forum in the Tenderloin next week.

Next Tuesday SFTR is hosting a voter forum in collaboration with Tenderloin Traffic Safety Task Force, the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, the Tenderloin Community Benefit District, and the SF Bicycle Coalition at Boeddeker Park.

This event is for Tenderloin residents who are interested in the history of the ½ cent sales tax, how the funds have previously been spent in the Tenderloin, and the expected impact of the new expenditure plan.

If you live in the Tenderloin, or have friends and family in the Tenderloin, this is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community about transit, and how Measure L relates to service, safety, and sustainability
