Tomorrow, Saturday 10/22, we will be having a campaign door-knocking event in Yuba City. Rusty Hicks, chair of the California Democratic Party, will also attend. The address is 471 Plumas Blvd, Yuba City, 95991. We will start at 12 noon.

Come meet and support me, David Leon Zink (for Assembly District 3), and local candidates by helping distribute literature in Yuba City. Instructions, materials, and maps will be provided.

I hope you had a chance to see the League of Women Voters sponsored Zoom Forum last night. It was an interesting experience, and I wish it could have been in-person, but what I really took from it is that Doug LaMalfa was completely unprepared and just kind of rambles through every question he gets. Very disappointing for a congressman - especially if it's the one time he intends to take questions from the public every two years.

I was also unhappy with the moderating: apparently calling LaMalfa a "liar" for disputing the results of the 2020 election is "too uncivil." I was very disappointed in that.
