John,
I am proud and deeply honored to share with you that The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police has announced their endorsement of our campaign for Congress against Sean Casten.
In endorsing, Illinois FOP State Lodge President Chris Southwood, wrote:
As a decorated combat veteran, you understand what loyalty and commitment means and have demonstrated your dedication to serving your community, state, and country. The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police stands behind you because of your steadfast and ardent support of the public safety profession. We know we can count on you to continue supporting the men and women who wear the uniform and are confident you will work hard to ensure the safety of, not only our public safety professionals, but also of the citizens of the 6th Congressional District.
Again, I am very honored to have the confidence of our law enforcement community and the endorsement of the FOP.
As mayor, I have demonstrated my commitment to working with police to keep our streets safe. I know firsthand that strong communities prioritize public safety and work with law enforcement to provide it.
In the U.S. House - unlike my opponent who co-sponsored anti-police legislation - I will continue my advocacy for policies that advance public safety and build the relationships we need to re-establish peace, security, and justice for all under the law.
Thank you,
Keith Pekau
Mayor of Orland Park
Republican Nominee for Illinois' Sixth Congressional District

Fox Chicago: Pekau blames increase in crime on Illinois Democrats: 'one-party rule'
CHICAGO - Manufacturer Robert Bettinardi endorsed two Republican candidates for congress Monday, after they toured his Tinley Park factory.
"We hope and pray that they get elected," said Bettinardi, CEO of Bettinardi Golf.
Republican hopefuls Keith Pekau and Kathy Salvi said they'll work to boost the economy and cut crime.
A New York Times survey found Republicans gaining momentum three weeks before the votes will be counted on Nov. 8th. The man seeking to unseat Rep. Sean Casten blames an increase in crime on Illinois Democrats.

Facebook: Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau discusses the SAFE-T Act, JB Pritzker’s Executive Order #113 and How the Election is Impacting Policy-making
Since the local news doesn't report it. Last Friday, JB Pritzker issued Executive Order #113 relating to COVID, recommending that everyone wear masks. That lasts for 30 days, what do you think is coming in a month, after the election ... unless you vote him out!
In the final stretch of the election the Democratic elected officials are promising to "fix legislation" in hopes of keeping their power.

DuPage Policy Journal: Pekau closes on Casten
As Nancy Pelosi’s House Majority PAC pulls funding out of Sean Casten’s Sixth District re-election campaign, Keith Pekau has announced a strong third quarter fundraising haul of $625,206.60, with $587,706.60 raised for Pekau for Congress and an additional $37,500 in funds raised for Pekau Victory.
The funds raised in Q3, in addition to a record as mayor that has gotten national attention, have put Pekau in a position to flip Illinois Six.
“I launched this campaign with a mission to put people over politics and return common sense leadership to Washington,” said Pekau. “I’m proud that an overwhelming amount of support came from individual contributors, people and businesses mostly inside the state of Illinois. In contrast, Congressman Casten relies on corporate PACs and special interest groups for funding. That’s the contrast in this election: He’s working to line his pockets and those of his political allies. I am running to protect communities and your pocketbooks.
“I am incredibly grateful for the support and generosity so many have shown. Now, we’re going to take it over the finish line.”

Chicago Crime Round-Up
"Kim Foxx’s Office dismissed a domestic violence case against Cook County court Judge Carl Boyd, arrested by the Chicago Police Department at a Beverly home."
ABC-7 report here.
"A man is carjacked at gunpoint in broad daylight in Chicago."
See the video here.
"A 13-year-old boy was among five people killed in unrelated shootings across Chicago over the weekend, which also left 19 others injured, according to police. At least 283 juveniles have been shot, 33 fatally, in Chicago this year."
ABC News report here.
Keith’s Comment: "Sean Casten says the SAFE-T Act (which would allow the carjackers to go free without bail) is “necessary criminal justice reform” and called those who oppose it “racist.” He co-sponsored similar out-of-touch, anti-police legislation at the federal level.
On November 8, a vote for Sean Casten is a vote for the anti-police, pro-criminal agenda of Kim Foxx and Nancy Pelosi that has destroyed lives and made our communities more dangerous.
A vote for me is a vote to work with law enforcement to make our streets safe and protect children, families and businesses from rampant crime."

Politicians in Washington, DC like Sean Casten, and Nancy Pelosi have put special interests, party politics, and extreme agendas ahead of doing what’s best for the people they’re supposed to represent.
Keith Pekau is the common sense, local leader we need in Washington to take on the extreme politicians. His record of results stands in stark contrast to the failed, divisive politics and rigid ideology of Sean Casten.
Whether you choose to contribute, knock on doors, or host a yard sign on your front lawn, every little bit counts and helps my campaign inch closer to victory.
