Join SF YIMBY leads Matt Castillon and John Lisovsky in calling D6 voters in support of the only YIMBY member of the Board of Supervisors. Given all the apartment buildings in the district, it is notoriously hard to canvas so making phone calls is especially effective.

12:15pm - 469 Stevenson Mourning Press Conference on the City Hall East Steps. It has been one year already since the anti-housing Board of Supervisors rejected 495 homes proposed to fill what is currently a parking lot. If Prop D goes into effect, this will happen never again! Bring your energy to this media event featuring some of the strongest pro-housing voices in the City. Planning of the event is still in motion, so stay tuned for
5:30pm-7:30pm - Yes on D Phone Bank Do a hands-on activity to help all our endorsed candidates and positions win! Phone bankers: you will get pizza for your efforts! Got 15 minutes? Give your friends election information |
|
One of the most powerful things you can do to help all of our propositions and candidates is to share our endorsements with your friends and neighbors. The YIMBY brand has highly positive name recognition among likely voters, and that will be especially true with your network. If you have only 15 minutes, send a message to five local friends about the election and send them the link! It could be something like this:
Hi Friend, There’s an election coming up November 8. I’d like to share the SF YIMBY endorsements with you. They explain why they endorsed the way they did, and they help point out how to vote to get more housing built in San Francisco.
In particular, I urge you to vote Yes on Proposition D and No on Proposition E. Proposition D will eliminate obstacles and help us build housing. Prop D is supported by Habitat for Humanity, Senator Scott Wiener, and the Nor Cal Carpenters Union. Meanwhile, Proposition E is expressly designed by the Board of Supervisors who voted down to confuse voters and thwart Proposition D.
