Here at Team Scholten’s headquarters, we’ve got all hands on deck trying to reach our end-of-year deadline goal of $22,000.

It’s because of our grassroots supporters that J.D.’s been able to fight with a big heart and endless determination for rural Iowans to be heard. Since we started this campaign to make 2020 Steve King’s last year in Congress, every donation has made me more hopeful we’ll be able to make it happen.

Here’s what we can accomplish with your help:

- Hiring staff to get J.D.’s message out there, to knock on doors, and make phone calls for our campaign.

- Putting fuel and gas into the Sioux City Sue so we can reach rural communities on our Don’t Forget About Us tour.

- Paying for yard signs, merchandise, and ads so more people know J.D. will stand tall for all.

I want to be completely transparent about where your money is going. This isn’t an artificial deadline so we can boast about our fundraising numbers. Your donations allow us to keep the campaign’s momentum going so we can beat Steve King in 2020.
