John, Cheri Beasley needs our support to pull ahead in North Carolina’s crucial U.S. Senate race. This is an open seat, and polls show Cheri and her opponent within the margin of error.

I recently got back from rallying with Cheri and her campaign in Charlotte. Before I share a few words and photos from my trip, I have to ask: Will you pitch in $10 or whatever you can spare to Cheri’s campaign and ours to help flip North Carolina blue and defend our Senate majority?

I joined Cheri and campaign volunteers to launch a door-to-door canvass to make sure Democratic voters turn out. We talked to folks at a local barbershop.

From there, we rallied with the community at a local high school gym.

And John, I’ll share a few words with you that I said to the good folks in Charlotte:

This is the election that will define the soul of our country, and the fault line for this election is Cheri Beasley. The fault line for this election is you and I. The fault line for this election is what we do in these last 18 days.

Will you stand with me for America?

Will you stand with me for love over hate?

If we do it in North Carolina, the whole nation will stand up and recognize that love still lives, that democracy still matters, and that hope still reigns supreme.
