Hello California Democrats! Since 1992, the California Democratic Party (CADEM) has worked diligently to protect the rights of all voters across the state through its voter protection program. As we face unprecedented times, Republican legislators and the GOP are mobilizing quickly and strategically in support of restrictive voter suppression laws that disproportionately target voters of color and voters with disabilities. Our Voter Protection Team will ramp up efforts to ensure that, in spite of the hurdles and challenges the Republicans are using to deter voters, the CADEM Voter Protection Team will be ready to counteract voter disenfranchisement and we will continue to ensure, Every Vote Counts! Having a strong, diverse team of volunteers who can answer questions and offer assistance is essential to making sure every single Californian can cast their ballot with confidence. Poll Monitors will check polling locations around the state, to ensure that all voters have equal access to the ballot.
