After FEC fundraising reports became public, we learned
Young Kim’s campaign is being funded by not one, not two, but more than three election deniers.
We wish we could say we’re shocked. Kim has sided with these extremists on multiple occasions:
- When Young Kim needed to step up and defend the integrity of our 2020 presidential election, she was silent.
- As much as she has stated that rhetoric matters, Kim displayed no interest in holding Trump accountable for inciting the Jan. 6 insurrection and voted against impeachment or conviction of any kind.
- Her “condemnation” of violence fell short when Young Kim voted against creating an independent commission to investigate the Capitol’s attack.
It’s simple, John: We need to elect people who support democracy, not people funded by MAGA extremists. We cannot allow this to become our new normal.
