Dear john,
This week, President Biden's policies drove gas prices higher yet again, further squeezing Americans wallets. Now, in a desperate attempt to blunt increased fuel costs weeks before the midterms, President Biden announced the sale of 15 million barrels of oil from America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve. This move weakens our national security by depleting these reserves, but is also a blatantly political act.
It's clear that as inflation continues to wallop the country – the President just keeps hitting Americans where they can least afford it.

Meanwhile, the Biden Administration denies its role in the price hikes, instead blaming Vladimir Putin and Russia. This is a strawman argument meant to avert Americans’ attention from the real culprit: Democrats’ war on American energy. Biden should take responsibility for these failures – but I don’t expect he will.
The United States should never beg foreign leaders, especially dictators and despots, for one drop of oil. Under President Trump, America was energy independent. My Republican colleagues and I will continue fighting to free our nation from being energy dependent on hostile nations.

Why Are Our Tax Dollars Supporting Drag Queen Performances?
This week, the North Carolina Museum of Art intended to host a drag queen story hour event for children as young as two. Mind you, this museum receives both state and federal funding. After a chorus of opposition from North Carolinians, the museum quietly scrubbed the event from its website.

The ongoing effort to indoctrinate youth with radical gender theory is despicable. Why is the Left so obsessed with funding and promoting drag queen performances?

News also broke this week that the Biden Administration is funding drag performances in Ecuador, of all places.

Not one penny of your tax dollars should go toward programs that sexualize children.
My colleagues and I are working to ensure that your tax dollars won't be used to fund these perverse programs. That's why I co-sponsored the “Stop the Sexualization of Children Act” with my colleague, Representative Mike Johnson.
