Home cooks are our heroes—it's as simple as that. When Allrecipes first launched in 1997, we didn't publish all recipes. In fact, we only published cookie recipes. It's safe to say we've changed since then. What hasn't changed is our overall mission: to celebrate the expertise of home cooks and provide inspiring tips and recipes for everyone. In the past 25 years, our Allrecipes community and editors have published over 55,000 recipes. You've shared the apple pie your grandmother used to make, the spaghetti sauce you received as a wedding gift, and a rendition of your mom’s famous fettuccine alfredo that earned thousands of five-star reviews.

Most importantly, Allrecipes connects home cooks with their greatest sources of inspiration—other home cooks. We're the world's leading digital food brand, and that inspires us to do everything possible to keep our community connected. Sixty million home cooks deserve no less. In celebration of 25 years, we are honoring our top recipes, sharing 25 food trends, remembering the man behind the World’s Best Lasagna, and asking a panel of food enthusiasts their thoughts on the future of home cooking.
