Friends, can you help us out this
weekend?

A few of you have stepped up in the past couple of days by pitching in to help us catch up from falling behind our numbers. Thank you so much for caring enough about this election to take action.
For those of you who haven't had the chance to chip in yet (or haven't done so in a while) we're hoping to remind you today of a few good reasons that your dollar means so much more when you choose to contribute to Barrier to Entry:
* Our candidates refuse to take corporate PAC money. Although they could certainly use the cash to boost their campaigns, they won't compromise their values for special interests. Instead, they believe that social change is only possible by building a grassroots army with the support of everyday people. People-funded = people first. And that means they are only accountable to YOU.
* When our candidates come to us, they are lower-income and can't afford to run competitive campaigns. Even though they have what it takes to be effective changemakers, our working-class candidates lack the financial advantages and political leverage that the others do to help them get ahead. Every dime makes a difference.
* Because our candidates come from working-class backgrounds, they actually understand the challenges that everyday people face. Unlike too many out-of-touch politicia, our candidates are truly in this fight to lift up the American people. So we can count on them to always put us first.
We're a small, scrappy organization led by just the five of us progressive women eager for change. Other larger organizations are well-connected and have establishment infrastructure that helps them raise money for their candidates. Instead, we rely on grassroots donors like you -- and our working-class progressives candidates are counting on us now more than ever.
So, if you really want to have a meaningful impact for bold Democrats this election, please remember that our Barrier to Entry candidates are the ones who need you the most.
We urgently need to get our numbers back on track THIS WEEKEND because next week kicks off the final two weeks of campaigning, and it's our last chance to reach key voters on time. We can still win this, folks, but it will take ALL of us. Can you spare just a quick moment to chip in $22 or more right now to help us catch up before this weekend is over? ([link removed])

BARRIER TO ENTRY PAC is proudly 100% women owned and operated — by women of color, queer women, progressive women — who are committed to achieving social change through inclusive public leadership. Our mission is to build a political space that reflects and works for ALL of us by helping pro-choice, lower income candidates run for office. Because it's time to elect actual working-class representatives to represent the working class.
