If we come up short between now and Election Day, there won’t be any participation trophy, folks.

No silver medals, no second chances, and no “better luck next year.”

I don’t want any of us to wake up on November 9 with regrets. We need to know we gave it our all because NBC Chicago is calling our battleground district one that will decide control of Congress.

If we can’t pull off a win on Election Day, the GOP will undo our progress on affordable healthcare, abortion access, voting rights, and climate action – then replace it with a no-exception abortion ban, environmental deregulation, and targeted voting restrictions.

Illinoisans deserve better. There’s no way in hell I’m letting the MAGA squad take this district without a fight – but anything less than first place is last place.
