Here at Vote To Live, we’re singularly focused on one mission: ensuring every eligible Black voter makes their voice heard.
This fall, that mission is more critical than ever. The 2022 midterm elections will have major implications for our democracy as a whole, and specifically for the rights, freedoms, and future of Black people across our country.
So we want to ask right off the bat: will you chip in $10 or whatever you can to fund free rides to the polls for any Black voter who needs one — and make 2022 a watershed year for the power and voice of Black Americans?

John, alongside our parent organization, the Collective Education Fund, Vote To Live works every day to get one message across to Black voters: your future is on the ballot, and your vote has the power to shape it.
That’s not a hypothetical. Time and again, we’ve seen the difference Black voters make when we show up and exercise our right to shape our country and our future. And two years ago, the Collective network played a key role to make that happen. Our network provided more than 70,000 free rides to the polls for Black voters in Georgia’s runoff elections — ultimately helping make history by electing the first-ever Black Democratic Senator from the South.
If that’s not power, we don’t know what is. And this year, Vote To Live aims to do it again — at a much larger scale. We’re working to replicate our success all around the country — and thanks in part to our partnership with the folks at Crooked Media and Pod Save America, we’re already making serious strides. Whether it’s engaging voters, getting folks registered, or helping voters actually make it to the polls, right now, we have the potential to dramatically shape our future for the better, for Black communities and our entire country.
Justice and safety. Access to good jobs, good housing, quality healthcare, and real opportunity for our kids. Fundamental freedoms, including the freedom to vote. These issues directly affect the lives of Black Americans, and every Black voter should be able to get to the ballot box and choose leaders who will stand with our communities — every single day.
Throughout Early Voting and all the way to November 8th, we’re pushing to provide a free ride to the polls to every Black voter who needs one — a key, concrete piece of the puzzle to lower the barriers and ensure every Black voter can make their voice heard. But it’s going to take serious resources, and we’ve got just two weeks left till Election Day. So we’re asking you to dig deep, be as generous as you possibly can, and show up today to get Black voters to the polls. Chip in $10 or whatever you can:
Thanks for stepping up, John. Let’s make this happen!
In solidarity,
Vote To Live
If every Black person eligible to vote voted this year, we would see historic and winning outcomes for leaders committed to standing with our communities up and down the ballot.
We cannot be passive and have critical parts of our lives decided for us. How we eat, where we sleep, make our money, take care of our children and literally breathe depend on how we choose to fight for our lives at the ballot box.
That’s why we are launching the VOTE TO LIVE campaign. VOTE TO LIVE is our commitment to register as many eligible voters as possible: first-timers, young people, and folks who have been unknowingly purged. This is our fight to ensure folks are registered, ready and able to take back so much of what’s been deprived — this year and beyond.
