While many of us celebrate with loved ones this holiday season, billions of
animals across the country are suffering unimaginable cruelty…

The confinement of pregnant and nursing pigs in crates too small for them to
turn around…the removal of horns and tails from animals without
anesthesia…piglets deemed too small killed by repeatedly having their heads
slammed on the ground…male chicks tossed alive into meat grinders.

This is how billions of farmed animals are spending the holidays: suffering
abuse and cruel conditions no living being should have to endure.

These animals need your help, John. So please, help us reach our $150,000 year-end goal by making a lifesaving gift
today. All gifts made by December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to a
total of $87,500.

John,

Earlier this year, the Animal Recovery Mission (ARM) conducted an undercover
investigation at Fair Oaks Farm — one of the largest dairies in the country and
a supplier of milk to Fairlife. The footage revealed systematic and chronic
abuse — what ARM called “by far the worst baby abuse that we’ve ever seen.”

The investigation documented workers kicking baby cows in the head, throwing
them onto the ground, and leaving them to overheat and die in the sun. Videos
show calves being stabbed and beaten with steel rebars, burned in the face with
hot branding irons, and kneed in the spine. All this was happening while Fairlife claimed its products come from cows who
receive “extraordinary” care.

In response to Fairlife’s misleading representations about the treatment of
their dairy cows, the Animal Legal Defense Fund has joined other firms in
bringing a class-action lawsuit against Fairlife for consumer deception and
false advertising.

We refuse to let Fairlife get away with this deception and cruelty, but we need
your help. With just days left in 2019, generous donors have offered to match all gifts before midnight on December 31, up to a total of $87,500!

John, that means your gift of: $25 = $50 | $50 =
$100 | $100 = $200

Our lawsuit against Fairlife is just one of more than 60 active legal cases we’re fighting right now. There’s no better time to make your year-end gift, and make twice the impact in
the fight for these calves and other animals suffering across the country.

But please don’t wait — there are just five days left to take advantage of this
matching gift opportunity and help us reach our goal. We are hoping to raise $150,000 by December 31, and up to a total of $87,500
will be matched to give more animals a fighting chance against cruelty, neglect, and
exploitation.
