Hi
John,
Huge & heartfelt appreciation to everyone who joined us at Radical Disruption and Compassionate Resistance.

It was an engaging evening of stirring conversation and directive action. If you weren't able to attend, you can still support the event by bidding on our silent auction, open until midnight on Tuesday, October 25. ([link removed]) From phenomenal seats at a Warriors game (!!!), to gift certificates for independently owned businesses around the country, there’s something here for every interest and every price point.

See the 55+ items in our auction from across the nation.

At Radical Disruption Compassionate Resistance, we screened a video by Instagram Influencer Blair Imani from her series Smarter in Seconds, watched a powerful look back video on 20 years of Think Before You Pink® campaigns, took collective action on our open letter to the breast cancer industry as part of our 20th Anniversary Think Before You Pink® campaign: A (R)Evolution.

The event centered our inspirational and unabashed guest speaker, Tiah Tomlin-Harris. Our deepest gratitude and a huge thanks to Tiah. Tiah boldly called out injustices in breast cancer disparities, issues of toxic chemicals in personal care products, and systemic issues of access and racial justice in how different communities face barriers to different types of products. This conversation got to the heart of the connections between breast cancer, capitalism, and environmental, racial, and health justice.

We also want to shout out The Sly Band's grooves and good vibes which closed out the evening perfectly.

Stay tuned for clips of this powerful conversation. But in the meantime, check out the auction ([link removed]) that supports our unique work to call for more transparency and accountability by companies that take part in pink ribbon marketing culture, and to truly get to the root of the breast cancer crisis.

With gratitude,

KR (they/she)
Executive Director
