John
, I had to make sure you saw this email from my team: Mark Finchem is running for Secretary of State (the position that oversees Arizona elections) and yet, he “doesn’t care for mail-in voting.” But 75% of Arizona voters are registered to receive mail ballots!
Either Mark Finchem doesn’t know that mail-in voting is critical for voters with disabilities, elderly voters, military service members abroad, college students, and working class Americans who can't vote during regular hours, in which case he is not qualified to oversee our elections …
… or he does know just how essential mail-in voting is, he knows exactly how many voters would be disenfranchised by an attack on mail-in voting, and that’s exactly what he’s going for, in which case he definitely isn’t qualified to oversee our elections.
There’s no other way to see it, John: We can’t let guys like Mark Finchem win.
Power the Vote is doing everything we can to defend mail-in voting and protect our democracy from anti-voting Republican extremists, but we can’t do it alone.
Right now, will you donate a few dollars to support our voter protection efforts in the final few weeks of this election cycle? We’re running out of time to make a difference in 2022, John. [[link removed]]

Republicans have absolutely no shame, John.
Mark Finchem is an election denier running for Arizona Secretary of State — that’s the position that oversees Arizona’s elections.
Finchem has been attacking vote by mail and our elections – even encouraging vigilantes to stake out ballot drop boxes and intimidate voters who are dropping off their absentee ballots.
Recently, he said point-blank, “I don’t care for mail-in voting — that’s why I go to the polls.”
The irony? He has voted by mail in 28 of the past 30 elections.
That’s how we know that Republicans don’t even believe the extremist nonsense they’re saying — they’re just saying this stuff to win political points.
And in the process, they’re undermining elections and reinforcing the false narrative of widespread voter fraud.
We’re not having it, and we’re fighting to stop it. Donate to Power the Vote right now to support our efforts to defend voting rights across the country. [[link removed]]

We know that voting by mail is critical for voters with disabilities, elderly voters, military service members abroad, college students, and working class Americans who can't vote during regular hours.
That’s why we are funding voter protection staff to fight for these voters — because if we don't, Republicans will silence our voices altogether.
That’s not what a democracy looks like, John.
Please, donate any amount to Power the Vote right now. We’re counting on your support. [[link removed]]

We Fund Voter Protection
In 2020, we ran the Democratic Party’s Voter Protection Program in Georgia, when the state flipped blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.
We pioneered a new model of voter protection, built on sustained investments and long-lasting relationships.
Now, we’re building on that success and adapting the Georgia model to fight voter suppression in other states.
