Hey John, it’s Tim Scott.
Let me start by saying - I do not believe that America is a racist country. The beauty of America and its promise of achieving anything you set your mind to allowed me to get where I am today.
And I can confidently say that I am living the American Dream.
But just for telling my truth, what I have experienced firsthand… I get accused of being a white supremacist.
My personal journey - going from Cotton to Congress, would not have been possible anywhere else in the world. It’s only possible here in America because when we focus on an idea and are surrounded by mentors and a community, can we achieve our dreams.
I work tirelessly in Washington, day in and day out, to ensure that our future generations can have the same opportunities I had growing up. This makes America beautiful, despite the narrative from the Left that makes almost everything seem impossible.
