I wish I didn't have to share this completely fucked up news out of Florida, John, but
this is the human consequence of a post-Roe world in a GOP-controlled state.
We cannot look away.
To Republican politicians, forced pregnancy for
children who are survivors of rape and incest is the cost of doing business to secure minority power and exert control over anyone with a uterus. It is unequivocally an act of violence.
And if Republicans keep winning, we're only going to hear more horrific and tragic stories like this one.

There is no quick and easy way to undo the post-Roe dystopia we're all now living in. The far-right has been plotting and scheming it for
decades. It's going to take a massive, concerted, and well-planned effort to undo it.
That's exactly where you, John, come in.
What can we do? Elect pro-choice diverse young progressives in state and local races who will protect people who want abortions.
How can we do it? Who we elect to state and local races
literally can determine whether or not a person has access to an abortion. State legislators can codify abortion access into law. Elected prosecutors can refuse to prosecute health care professionals who provide or assist abortions. City councilors and county supervisors can prohibit police funding from being used to investigate abortion seekers and providers.
We can't wait for the Supreme Court or Congress to save us — there are too many people who need access to abortion right now. Chip in
