96 About the Future With less than two weeks until our fall dinner
and less than three weeks until Election Day, I wanted to share with you
a couple lines from America, a Redemption Story, the latest book by our
fall dinner special guest U.S. Senator Tim Scott.

I have to say, the
book is a must-read. It tells his story candidly, giving insight into
his own life and the lives other Americans who have overcome challenges
to fulfill their version of the American dream. I also found out that
his nickname in high school changed from "Teet" to "Great Scott" after
Doc Brown stated that infamous line in Back to the Future. (His campaign
slogan for student government president became "Great Scott for Student
Government President.")

Anyway, here is the excerpt (pgs. 197-198):
"If you are eighteen when you vote in the 2024 election, you will be
sixty-four in 2070. I want you to imagine your life. Your kids will have
kids of their own by then. You will be the elder, watching the next two
or three generations play their roles in paving the way to a brighter
future."

Elections are about the future — our future generations and
the country we want them to inherit. With our votes in less than three
weeks, we have the opportunity to put our country back on track and
ensure that the future truly is brighter.

Enjoy this week's
newsletter and share it with a friend.

And if you haven't please RSVP
for our fall dinner!

Sincerely,

Chairman Kyle Hupfer

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was'READI' in Southern Indiana On
Wednesday, Gov. Eric Holcomb travelled throughout southern Indiana,
making several stops in Warrick and Gibson counties to tout projects
that were awarded Regional Economic Acceleration and Development
Initiative (READI) dollars. READI is a bold, transformational initiative
that will invest $500 million in state appropriations to promote
strategic investments that will make Indiana a magnet for talent and
economic growth through unprecedented partnerships.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Indiana
Governor Eric Holcomb spent much of his Wednesday in southern Indiana,
making several stops across Warrick and Gibson counties, all in an
effort to tout recent READI Grant funding for several projects. After
his three stop journey through Newburgh and Princeton, residents in
these communities are excited for what’s ahead.

The initial stop in
Newburgh was related to an appearance by the governor at the Warrick
County Chamber of Commerce’s lunch with the governor, where Governor
Holcomb discussed various topics impacting the local and state-wide
communities. He also expressed support for how Warrick County handled
their use of READI Grant funds.

“And then invest those dollars into
programs like infant mortality and bringing those numbers down, child
mortality and bringing those numbers down, and addressing mental health
issues. All the other challenges,” explains Governor Holcomb.

 Todd Young Releases New Ad:
Vitalhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=HY0sMNJTaC8 On
Wednesday, Todd Young released his latest statewide ad: Vital. The ad
highlights how Todd's CHIPS Act is rebuilding Hoosier manufacturing by
bringing micro chip production back to America from Communist China,
strengthening our military and creating good-paying jobs.

"America is
choosing to take the fight to China – confronting the challenges of
today and building a more prosperous and secure tomorrow for Hoosiers.
That’s called meeting the threat head-on."

Releases New Ad: Shake Things Up On Thursday, Jennifer-Ruth Green
released her latest ad: Shake Things Up. The ad contrasts career
politician Frank Mrvan’s support for Nancy Pelosi and inflation causing
policies with Jennifer-Ruth's focus on stopping reckless spending,
reducing prices and bringing jobs back from China

“If you think the
country is on the right track, then Frank Mrvan is your man. He’s voted
99 percent of the time with Nancy Pelosi for all the reckless spending
that has caused 40-year high inflation and skyrocketing prices for
Hoosiers,” said Jennifer-Ruth's Campaign Manager Ashleigh Presnar. “But
if you think we’re on the wrong track and need new leadership to shake
things up where career politicians like Frank Mrvan have failed, then
Jennifer-Ruth Green is the clear choice. Jennifer-Ruth will stop the
reckless spending that’s making everything more expensive, protect
retirement savings, stop tax breaks for the rich and bring jobs back
from China.”
