Team: I wanted to make sure you saw our campaign team’s email from yesterday.

We’re facing a critical point in our democracy. It’s an inflection point where we’re seeing some of the most critical fights not being fought in Washington D.C. by Congress, but rather in governors' mansions, state houses, and by voter-backed measures on the ballot.

Winning in Michigan and Vermont sets the stage for how our democratic system works moving forward. We’re seeing extremist anti-choice governors and state officials invoke life-altering, dangerous bans on abortion in an instant. But we’re seeing super majorities of voters in purple states like Michigan and Vermont stand up for their rights and run campaigns to protect their reproductive liberty.

If these campaigns win, it sets a precedent for other red, purple, and blue states to be able to do the same. But if we lose, these extremist officials will think they have won.

We’re less than 20 days out from Election Day, and what we do in these final days will have a direct impact on how these campaigns finish out.

If you’re with us in the fight to protect abortion access in Michigan, Vermont, and everywhere across the country that we possibly can, please help us hit our goal of 250 donors before midnight tonight with a donation now to show the strength of this movement. >> [[link removed]]

Friend: Since 2016, we’ve powered dozens of campaigns on progressive issues in red and purple states, so believe us when we say we’ve faced our fair share of attacks from extremist officials who felt threatened by these campaigns.

But what we’re seeing in Michigan, as voters from all across the state — from across party lines — come together to protect access to reproductive health care is, well... an unprecedented number of attacks. Help us fight back and protect abortion in Michigan, Vermont, and across the country with a donation today. >> [[link removed]]

Anti-abortion opponents in Michigan have…

Spent $30 million in paid advertising to misinform voters about Proposition 3 and what it does;
Deployed anti-choice high schoolers to every county in the state to knock on doors and try to dissuade voters;
And in an attempt to get ahead of Prop 3 passing this November, extremist officials have introduced fourteen bills in the Michigan state legislature that would ban abortion altogether.

That’s why we’ve set a goal to bring in 250 new donors before tomorrow at midnight to protect abortion in Michigan, Vermont, and anywhere else we’re able to run campaigns in 2023, 2024, and beyond to protect reproductive freedom. Rush a donation now to power this critical work. >> [[link removed]]
