John – this is Parker, Gov. Lujan Grisham’s Finance Director, with a brief update.

I’ve done the math – with just 18 days left in this race, our campaign is currently below target to meet this week’s fundraising goal.

I’d hate to tell the Governor that we might need to make critical budget cuts in this final stretch of the race – especially since her extremist GOP opponent outraised her by close to $330,000 in the last reporting period.

With the GOP spending MILLIONS to buy this seat and polls showing the Governor up by ONLY *2* points, we *cannot* afford to fall short. But if everyone reading this message contributed just $15, we’d be back on track to win.
