A Day to Make a Real Difference
Dear John,
Tomorrow marks the 30th observance of National Make a Difference Day — a day for you to make a positive impact for your community.

Every year, this day is celebrated around the world through volunteering, and giving to organizations devoted to transforming our world into a better place for everyone. We are grateful every day for caring friends like you who share this commitment with ADL.
In honor of this important day, I wanted to thank our supporters for all the ways that

they are truly making a difference in communities throughout the country. Through their generosity, we’ve been empowered to do more in the fight against:
- Antisemitism: You helped us launch our Center for Antisemitism Research, which drives innovative approaches to understanding and preventing antisemitism throughout the country
- Extremism: Supporters have given our ADL Center on Extremism the ability to monitor those on the dangerous fringes, leading to law enforcement action on potentially violent threats
- Bigotry, Bias and Discrimination: Donors have helped provide anti-bias education to over a million students and educators across the country, creating learning environments of inclusion, respect and equity. Their support has also led to critical legislation on confronting online hate nationwide
In addition, your support empowers our professional and volunteer teams across the U.S. and around the world to perform the critical hands-on work that makes ADL unique among anti-hate organizations.
