There are 17 days left until this defining election for our country and for Arlington. Last Friday Brooke and I cast our votes. (We'll be a little busy on election day.) Arizona did not vote, but was happy to see us when we got home:
Last Friday after voting.
Voting
No matter whether you vote on November 8th or before, I would be honored to earn your vote. I love working for Arlington and for each of you. I humbly and respectfully ask for your vote--you are at the heart of everything I do to serve.
You can vote today until 5 pm at the Courthouse. Next Tuesday, October 25th, early voting will begin at Walter Reed Community Center and Madison Community Center. For information on early voting times and locations, go here: https://vote.arlingtonva.gov/Early-Voting
Volunteering
Critically, this election has tightened. I believe it will be a very close race. I ask for your help in volunteering to help us win this race. You can canvass:
You can also canvass at any time--we will get you materials and a list--by emailing our Campaign Manager Mark Teel [email protected]
Alternatively, you can help me drop off literature with Arlington residents at the Metro in the mornings or evenings. I would love it if you would join me:
At last Saturday's Arlington Democrats Golden Gala with former Delegate Jay Jones and House of Delegates Democratic Leader Don Scott
Last, I am honored to have received the endorsements of the Arlington Democrats Black Caucus and Democratic Black Caucus of Virginia.
If you vote early, reply to this email with a picture if you like. I'll post it to help us turn out the vote and win this critical election for Arlington's future.
