Hockley
Nottingham?s thriving creative scene has pulled together another incredible day of music, comedy, art, poetry, workshops and talks, celebrating the very best of what the city has to offer.
Proceeds will go to support a number of local charities carrying out vital work across the city including Imara, Base 51, Emmanuel House, BME Cancer Communities and a Nottingham food bank.?

Silent Disco
Grab a pair of headphones and get strapped in for The Silent Disco. Truth and Lies DJs are bringing the funkiest beats to Broad Street for the return of the spectacular Hockley Hustle Silent Disco. With several channels to get stuck into, the stompers are in for a treat. Times: 7.00pm to 10.00pm
Hustle Parade
The event will be abuzz with sound and colour throughout the day as the Can Samba Parade takes to the streets The award-winning carnival troupe will be on the march, throw in circus performers, gymnasts and much more besides and we?ve got a carnival on our hands. Times: 3.00pm and 6.00pm
Heathcote Street Eats
Hockley Hustle has collaborated with Nottingham Street Food Club this year so expect to see Heathcote Street lined with a selection of food vendors to give you the festival feel.

Hockley Hustle has 30 venues for music and performance throughout the day. Expect to find every ounce of the best creative talent the city has to offer and there is sure to be something for all musical tastes.
Here's what's happening at just some of the venues; 31K located at 31 Goose Gate in the heart of Hockley, will be hosting Rock, Grunge and Alternative bands and Bar 11 on Goose Gate will be hosting RnB, Rap, Poetry, Soul and Jazz performers.
Boca Lima will be hosting DJ sets and Drag Bingo (Merging the live performance art of drag and cabaret with the traditional game) and?The Hockley Arts Club on Carlton Street will be hosting Folk, Indie, Rock, Jazz and Hip Hop performers.?The Bodega, one of Nottingham?s staple grassroots venues will have acts performing on the upstairs and downstairs stages and, tipping its hat to one of its famous beers, Brew Dog will be hosting Punk and Rock acts from 3.00pm.

Showcasing the strength and depth of Nottingham?s creative talents, Hockley Hustle is back with loads of hands-on creative fun for young people taking place throughout the day.
The Hustle team have brought together beatboxers and poets, dancers and drummers, graffiti artists and circus acts to deliver the standalone Young Hustlers programme based around Sneinton. A Cardboard City, Silent Disco, Big Fish Little Fish raves and the very first Young Hustlers Open Mic is just part of the epic line up of activity on offer.

Taking over the North Bastion, witches and wizards will be working in their magical laboratory. Suitable for all ages , Abramelin's? Acadamy of Arcana demonstrate real arcane skills from history.

For a more thrilling experience, there is the After Dark cave tours. Descend into the caves with famed paranormal investigator, Dr Abraham Van Helsing to investigate the disappearance of some castle staff...

City Centre
There is something for everyone this October half term in the city centre.
John Lewis in the Victoria Centre will host a free fun and practical first aid sessions to introduce children to lifesaving first aid skills on Wed 26 October.
Some friendly monsters have taken over some of the city's best-known buildings. It's a great selfie opportunity.
On Sun 30 October there'll be free face painting at three venues and 88 sweets stops for children to pick up a Halloween treat.
Batman and the Batmobile will be in the city on King Street and, if spiders are more your thing, St James Hotel on Standard Hill will host spiders, wriggly insects and reptiles in Spider School.

Wollaton Hall and Park
There are fun and spooky goings on this half-term round the hall and park.
Indoor activities in the hall itself include Hidden History Tours, to see behind the scenes, and 'Make and Take' activities..
Outdoors, there's a traditional rides fair and a 'Magic Potions' walk through the formal gardens. It's also the time of year for a leaf kicking Autumn walk?in the park.

National Ice Centre
There's a spookily good half-term skating schedule for you this October, with something for everyone.
Tonight (Fri 21 October) there is a Noughties Skating Disco, bringing back classics from Shakira, The Killers, Beyonce, Busted and McFly.?
Next Friday (28 October) the Halloween Skate Party takes to the ice with DJ, lights.?Plus, if you come in your fancy dress, you'll to be in with the chance of winning frighteningly good prizes.
During the week there are parent & tots sessions, intensive lessons. Plus, lots of public skating sessions.?

If you want indoor entertainment for Halloween, the Concert Hall is presenting Hocus Pocus with a live orchestral accompaniment.
Seeing the film with a full orchestra performing its soundtrack live to picture, gives an opportunity to experience the film in a fresh and unique setting.

Motorpoint Arena
For brilliant fun for all the family, come along to see the UK's Strongest Man competition. The competition will be coming to Nottingham for the first time over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend in May 2023.?
The Channel 5 TV series is known as one of the toughest strength events and will see 16 of Ireland's and Britain's best go head-to-head over a spectacular 3-day show.?
The event?will also showcase the UK's Strongest Woman with eight incredible women performing mind blowing feats of strength.

Old Market Square
This year's Winter Wonderland will have an amazing new wow factor with the Sky Skate. The UK's first elevated ice path is a unique 400 metre linear skating rink that will take you above the heads of the crowds as you skate around Old Market Square and you can stop off enroute at the Skate-Through Bar.?
Winter Wonderland's much-loved attractions will also return including the toboggan ride, Sur la Piste, Altitude, Ice Bar, over 40 market stalls and more. Tickets are on sale now.
