Leora Levy Slams Biden and Blumenthal Energy Policies as Northeast Residents Dread Winter’s Arrival
GREENWICH, CT - An AP report came out highlighting Northeast residents’ concerns amid soaring energy costs and below-average fuel supplies. The Energy Department is predicting heating oil to be 27% higher and electricity 10% higher with the average cost to heat a home with heating oil expected to cost $2300 this winter. Connecticut residents already face some of the highest energy costs in the nation and are being warned that they may face winter blackouts as a result of gas shortages.
U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy issued a response condemning Biden and Blumenthal’s anti-American energy policies.
“Winter is coming, and Biden and Blumenthal turned their backs on Connecticut in pursuit of their radical green dream agenda. Between canceling drilling leases and favoring foreign energy production over American-produced energy, their egregious energy policies have left Connecticut families out in the cold.
“I have heard from countless people across our state that they have had to take a second or third job just to be able to heat their homes and buy groceries. As your next Senator and as a Career American, I will promote American energy independence and lower the cost of living for ALL Americans suffering under radical, liberal policies.”
