Friend,

As we come to the close of 2019, I wanted to thank you for not only the support you’ve shown me over the past year, but the opportunities you’ve given me to fight for you, and for Bend. 

We’ve accomplished a lot this year, and we’re far from done. The new year will bring 365 new chances to bring moderate, independent change to the place we call home. I’m excited for what the future holds. 

But right now, I need to bring your attention to a more immediate concern. 

Now, friend, I’ve emailed you about deadlines before, but there is none as urgent as the one I’m facing right now…

Not only is this our End of Month deadline, but it’s also our End of Quarter AND End of Year deadline. 

Three big milestones – three chances to project our strength. Three goals we CAN’T afford to fall short on. 

So, friend, I’m asking for your help one final time in 2019… will you make your most impactful contribution of the year and help me hit THREE crucial deadlines at once?

In the new year, I’ll continue to stand up for you and protect family budgets, ensure new tax dollars reach our kids’ classrooms, and fight for economic policies that help strengthen small businesses, our economy and grow jobs. 

I’ll work across party lines to reject rigid right-left extremes and find common ground for positive change.  

But I can’t do any of that without your support. 

If I end 2019 without meeting these goals, I’ll be starting off the new year far behind where we should be.

And, if you needed another reason to support a great future for Bend, here’s one I don’t think you’ll be able to pass up… taxpayers who make $100,000 or less can use their Oregon Political Tax Credit and can qualify to get every dollar up to $50 back on your state income tax….but only contributions made by the end of the year count!    

Friend, I’m counting on you to help make a bright future for Bend - these goals are so important. Can you help now and make sure we hit them?
