John, I just walked off the stage after my second debate this week.

These debates were important moments for my campaign because Connecticut voters already have access to absentee ballots. Some might be at their kitchen tables at this very moment, thinking about the debates and deciding how to vote. There’s no time to waste.

I hope I made it clear on that stage what the choice is in this election. With our majority in the House, we sent economic relief to millions of struggling Americans affected by the pandemic, expanded veterans’ healthcare, protected marriage equality, defended reproductive rights, and drove down the cost of insulin – all of which Republicans in Congress voted AGAINST.
