John,

Wondering how extreme the MAGA Republicans running for office are? Here you go:

Washington Post: A majority of GOP nominees – 291 in all – deny the 2020 election results - Help the NDRC defeat election deniers and protect democracy

Yup – this is how deluded they are (or claim to be) as a group. But here’s what’s even worse: If these Republicans win in less than three weeks, they could use their positions to undermine future election results they don’t like.

The Atlantic headline: How six states can overturn the 2024 election.

When A.G. Holder says that our democracy is on the ballot in this election, this is what he’s talking about. And that’s why I have to ask if you can pitch in today to help the NDRC defeat GOP election deniers by supporting Democracy Defenders like the ones below (and doing a lot more!):

Democracy Defenders slate - Beto O’Rourke - Texas, Stacey Abrams - Georgia, Josh Shapiro - Pennsylvania, Katie Hobbs - Arizona, Steve Sisolak - Nevada, Tony Evers - Wisconsin, Gretchen Whitmer - Michigan, Nan Whaley - Ohio, Laura Kelly - Kansas, Charlie Crist - Florida, Michelle Lujan Grisham - New Mexico, Tim Walz - Minnesota, Wes Moore - Maryland

Look – if Democracy Defenders like Beto O’Rourke, Stacey Abrams, Josh Shapiro, and Katie Hobbs prevail on Election Day, it will be a huge win for democracy. But that will only happen if we work together to MAKE it happen.

Our efforts to support pro-democracy candidates are made possible by supporters like you, so I’m hoping that 31 people will pitch in by midnight tonight to help power all of our critical work. Can we count on you to be one of them?

Thanks,
Trisha
