One of the world's strongest animal protection laws is under attack.

In 2018, advocates from across the country joined to promote Prop 12, which Californians voted into law. Now, we are doing all we can to ensure this law is upheld as the meat industry aims to have it struck down and undo years of animal protection efforts. 

We have been working to build a coalition of advocates taking action to ensure that the meat industry hears our message loud and clear: Animals deserve protection.

During oral arguments before the Supreme Court on October 11, the pork industry made clear that it cared more about profit than the animals suffering in extreme confinement.
