My friend Tim Ryan tells me his campaign has hit a fundraising slump that they cannot seem to break out of, folks, and that spells trouble.

GOP super PACs are swarming because they smell chum in the water, and they see an opportunity to boost J.D.’s sinking campaign, now that Tim’s lead has all but dried up.

Mark my words: Tim won’t have a chance in hell to help expand the Senate majority if we don't get the resources we need right now. Tim’s got the narrowest of leads in the polls, but J.D.’s rich backers won’t go down without a fight.

Ryan: 47% and Vance: 46%

If your ship doesn’t come in, folks, you’ve got to swim out and meet it – so can I count on you to have Tim’s back by splitting a $5 contribution between Tim Ryan and Gary Peters right now to combat the super PAC feeding frenzy?

They say “a rising tide lifts all boats,” and that couldn’t be more true if it were written specifically about Democrats’ Senate prospects this year.

Tim winning in Ohio would help all our Democratic candidates, because he’s drawing Mitch McConnell’s attention (and wallet) to the Buckeye State, and to a race that he’d long thought he had in the bag.

Expanding our Democratic Senate majority won’t be easy, but winning in Ohio will help Democrats' chances.

So what do you say, folks? Will you join me in supporting Tim by splitting $5 between Tim Ryan and Gary Peters? Winning this race and flipping Ohio blue won’t be easy, but I promise you it will be worth it.
