This Tuesday, Marco Rubio and I debated in our first and only opportunity before Election Day because he’s scared to put his record against mine.

It was an honor to share my vision for a better, more just America on the stage – an America where a poor, Black girl like me could grow up to one day run for U.S. Senate. It couldn’t be clearer how different Rubio and I are, but there’s a problem:

With the latest polls showing us tied and experts saying this race will determine Senate control, the GOP is spending millions in these final weeks to defeat me.

That’s why we’ve set a goal to raise $250,000 before midnight to make sure we have the critical resources we need to fight back against the GOP’s spending and win in Florida. But even despite our momentum, we’re falling short of this goal.

What we do right now will determine the outcome of this race. I’m being outspent in key areas of Florida right now, and if we don’t have the resources we need, it will put this campaign – and our Senate majority – at risk.

I’ve been so proud to have you on my team during this campaign, and I know that together, we can win in Florida and defend our Senate majority. But only if we hit this critical goal before our deadline at midnight tonight. So please, will you split a donation right now between my campaign and Martin Heinrich’s to help me defeat Rubio and flip Florida blue?
