We hate to share bad news with you, but we need to let you know where we stand as of this afternoon.

National Republicans are continuing to drastically outspend us. They have poured millions of dollars into this race because they know Cheri has what it takes to win. And despite that, we are still TIED with our Trump-backed opponent.

While we don’t need to match GOP spending dollar for dollar, we do need to keep up our momentum and meet our fundraising goals to keep our momentum. And as of right now, we’re still trying to close a budget gap so we can make the investments necessary during early voting.

We don’t say this to alarm you, because there’s good news too: We have the toughest people-powered campaign North Carolina has ever seen. This team is filled with people like you who are fired up and deeply invested in electing Cheri Beasley. Our opponent doesn’t have this type of grassroots support, so if each and every one of us does our job, we absolutely have it within our power to defeat him.

Election Day is just nineteen days away, but early voting in North Carolina started today. We need to make sure we have the resources in these last crucial weeks before polls close to get out the vote for Cheri.

Cheri will be a real leader for all of us in the Senate. She will cast the decisive vote to end the filibuster — allowing us to secure abortion rights, LGBTQ+ equality, voting rights and more.

National Republicans want to drown us out with dark money. They think they can buy this seat by outspending us, but we can’t let that happen. Now is the time for us to leave everything on the field.
