With summer-like weather forecasted for this Saturday, head out to?Wine Off the Fox?at Venue 1012 to listen to music and sip wine outdoors.
Gather your friends to taste from a selection of more than 30 wines including August Hill?s Caramel Apple, Angel of Hope and Moscato; Fox Valley Winery?s Blue, Corruption Red and Grandma?s Blush; Village Vintner?s Sangria Blood Orange, Oktoberfest and Goji Temptation; Folktale Sparkling Ros?, The Loop Sauvignon Blanc, Stone Cap Merlot and First Fiddle Cabernet Sauvignon.?
Beer lovers rejoice! Oswego Brewing Co. will pour ice-cold craft beers Oktoberfest and Stone Skipper. Plus, a signature pink vodka lemonade cocktail will be mixed onsite and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. The list of wine and other beverages?is now available online.
Toe-tapping entertainment will be provided by girl bands Jersey Girls with Serendipity. A short breast cancer awareness program, Stand By Me, will be presented in between the performances.?
And it's all for a great cause. Wine Off the Fox presented by Xfinity will help raise awareness and funds to benefit breast cancer support organizations American Cancer Society, The Edward Foundation and Rush-Copley Waterford Place.?
Pre-order a charcuterie board?by midnight Oct. 20 from Fancy Nancy's Boards or bring your own picnic and snacks. Local food options include Hells BBQ, Dark Horse's wood-fired pizza and Salerno's Red Hots.??
Advance tickets range from $70 for VIP to $20 general admission. Tickets will be available at the door, but buy early to save $10 on tickets.?

Stop by the?Oswego Public Safety Campus open house?this Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Kids and adults will have the chance to watch a SWAT demonstration, explore police and fire vehicles up close, meet McGruff the Crime Dog, tour the jail and even put out a fire.
Plus, learn about internet safety for all ages. Refreshments will be served.?

Early voting for the General Election starts Monday, Oct. 24 at Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill. Vote from Oct. 24 to Nov. 3,?Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed Sunday.
Early voting continues through Monday, Nov. 7 at the Kendall County Government Building, 111 Fox Street, Yorkville.?
Polls will be open for the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
