Right now, you’re probably getting a lot of emails from candidates about the upcoming FEC deadline, and I can tell you why.
This deadline is critically important. It’s true — this is the final FEC deadline of the year. After midnight Tuesday, we will send a final report of the funds we have raised in 2019 to the FEC. It is a testament to the campaign strength we have — measured in dollars and in number of supporters.
But it is also about something more. It is about a belief that, together, we can get our country back on track. It is a statement that the work we did in 2018 to make that happen is just as important today. And it is a statement of hope and commitment for 2020 and the years that follow.

There can be no doubt that we are facing a difficult moment in our country’s history. We face real threats to our values, our democracy, and our Constitution.
But it is also true that people like you and me have faced this challenge head on. We are all part of this team, making sure that we win this moment, and secure a future for our children and grandchildren that reflects our values, our voices, and our vision for America.
