John, if you have been waiting for the perfect time to make your first online contribution to Sara Gideon's campaign to defeat Susan Collins, I am here to tell you that today is that time.
Here's why:

We are getting very close to our FINAL FEC fundraising deadline of the year coming to a close.

Shortly after that happens, we are going to report not just how much money we've raised, but how many donations make up that total.

And that donation number is critical. Because while Susan Collins has the support of Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and Washington Republicans, we have something she doesn't have: a lot of grassroots support.

So with the clock ticking toward this deadline, we are trying to not just raise as much money as we can, but we are also trying to get as many contributions as we can, as well. And that means we have to ask:

Can you make a $3 contribution to our campaign before our FINAL FEC fundraising deadline of the campaign comes to a close? This one is so important.
