Hi there,
This election, there are big choices on your ballot. Will Oregon continue to tackle climate change, hold big polluters accountable, and protect our environment? Or, will we go backward? OLCV-endorsed candidates are ready to protect what we love about Oregon today and for future generations.
Check out the full list of OLCV-endorsed candidates and ballot measures here.
OLCV has endorsed climate champions up and down the ballot. And there are big statewide endorsements on every Oregon voter’s ballot.
Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) Statewide Endorsements
U.S. Senator Ron Wyden
Tina Kotek for Governor
Christina Stephenson for Labor Commissioner
Vote YES on Measures 111, 112, and 113
If you haven’t yet heard about Tina Kotek, well, she is exactly the leader we need as our next governor. Tina is the only candidate who will meet the climate crisis with the urgency necessary. As governor, Tina will be an effective leader driven by her core values of justice, opportunity for all, and protecting our climate for future generations.
Maybe you’ve heard about Tina, but have you heard about Christina? OLCV has endorsed Christina Stephenson for labor commissioner because she will protect workers and our environment. She will help expand apprenticeship programs in clean energy jobs, helping grow our clean energy economy.
Ready to vote yes on statewide ballot measures? We hope so!
From wildfires and smoke to extreme weather to toxic air, our health and the environment are deeply intertwined, which is why we urge a yes vote on Measure 111 – healthcare for all. Next on your ballot is Measure 112, which removes from Oregon’s constitution language allowing slavery as punishment for a crime. Vote yes on M112 because slavery has no place in Oregon.
OLCV also proudly endorses yes on Measure 113 to hold politicians accountable when they don’t show up to do their jobs. For the past several years, certain politicians (Republicans) have repeatedly walked out and shut down the legislature, stopping laws to fund our schools, provide wildfire relief, address climate change, and more. By passing Measure 113, any politician who has ten unexcused absences won’t be able to run for re-election.

Voters are voting now. At OLCV, we are working hard to make sure they know who is a climate champion (e.g. Tina Kotek) and who sides with the fossil fuel industry (e.g. Betsy Johnson and Christine Drazan).
You can help ensure we have the resources we need in these final weeks by making a donation to the OLCV PAC. If you're eligible for Oregon's Political Tax Credit, you can give $50 (individual) or $100 (couple filing jointly) and get it back when you file your taxes!
Thanks for being a climate voter!

Deputy Director, OLCV
