Like you, I will never forget the shock of June 24, 2022. When the Trump-appointed US Supreme Court repealed the constitutional right to abortion in the Dobbs Decision, I felt betrayed, grief-stricken, and absolutely devastated. Then, the anger rose and I became even more committed to the fight for the right to abortion access, privacy, and autonomy over our own bodies.
That’s why I’m personally inviting you to join the Democratic Party of New Mexico for a virtual performance of "The Post-Roe Monologues", an original play written by Mimi Zieman, M.D., based on interviews, research and her own experience as an OB/GYN. This play is a revolutionary portrayal of the impact of the Dobbs Decision on a diverse array of characters, who could be any or all of us.
