Events & Fundraisers

Dear friends of the Fund,

Opposites attract in this week's events! On one hand, you can get out of your everyday routine with a relaxing vacation in the Tropics. On the other, you can join us for a trip inwards, into the psyche of an artist trying to understand himself and the world around him. Whatever you choose, you'll be supporting a life in the arts.

Thanks for your continued support, and we hope to see you soon.

Winner of the 2022 Tony Award for Best Musical, Michael R. Jackson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterwork exposes the heart and soul of a young artist grappling with desires, identity and instincts he both loves and loathes.

Usher is a Black, queer writer, working a day job he hates while writing his original musical: a piece about a Black, queer writer, working a day job he hates while writing his original musical. This blistering, momentous musical follows a young artist at war with a host of demons—not least of which, the punishing thoughts in his own head—in an attempt to capture and understand his own strange loop.
