THE WEEK'S BIG 3
The rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has agreed to acquire the conservative-oriented social media app Parler, in a move that comes a week after the rapper was locked out of his Twitter account and restricted on Instagram amid a backlash over antisemitic posts. Former President Trump said Sunday that he "could easily be" the prime minister of Israel in a wildly offensive post on his Truth Social account, in which he also said that Jewish people in the U.S. should be more appreciative of him. ADL published a new report citing 359 anti-Israel and antisemitic incidents that occurred on American campuses in the 2021-2022 academic year.
Read on for more on these headlines, news you can use to fight hate and the latest info about ADL from around the country.

“The rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has agreed to acquire the conservative-oriented social media app Parler, the platform announced early Monday. Parler is a controversial alternative to apps such as Twitter and Facebook and touts itself as a “free speech” and “uncancelable” space. It was forced offline last year for its ties to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.” NBC News:

We don't need the former president, who curries favor with extremists and antisemites, to lecture us about the US-Israel relationship. It is not about a quid pro quo; it rests on shared values and security interests. This "Jewsplaining" is insulting and disgusting.
