The reason I’m being so direct is because our country is at a crossroads. This month, the House formally voted to impeach President Trump for his abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell and his climate change denying cronies in the Senate continue to refuse to bring the Climate Action NOW Act for a vote. This comes after Trump announced his intention to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, the landmark international treaty which presents a roadmap to address the climate crisis.
If that wasn’t enough, my campaign is up against our final FEC deadline of the year, and I’ve got an extremist Republican challenger gunning for my seat. Their team will be looking very closely at the fundraising numbers we report at the end of the month -- And I have no doubt National Republican groups and the President’s campaign will be doing the same.
The only way we can reach our FEC goal in time is if we can bring in $10,000 online in the next two days. That might sound daunting, but with your help, I know we can reach this goal in time.
