This isn’t the kind of news we like sharing with you, Team, but you need to know:
According to a new poll by The New York Times, Republicans have opened up a 4-point advantage (49%-45%) in the race for the House majority, and “enter the final weeks of the contest for control of Congress with a narrow but distinct advantage.” This race, right here in CO-07, is one of a handful that will determine whether we protect our House Majority, and polls show us barely ahead. We can’t win this race if we don’t have the resources to turn out voters and air TV ads in these final weeks, Team.
But listen, Team, this race isn’t just about Democrats vs. Republicans. It’s also about what kind of person our community has representing us in Congress. It’s about whether we elect Brittany Pettersen — a pro-choice Democrat fighting to lower costs for regular families — or Erik Aadland, an anti-choice election denier. We know that when folks learn about Brittany and what she stands for, they support her — but getting our message out in these final weeks will take a lot of resources, and there’s no time to waste. Thank you, Team Brittany Pettersen |
