This is the worst feeling, John. As Finance Director, it’s my job to allocate funding to each of our teams at the NDRC. But I’m not sure we’re going to hit our October goal (we missed September’s) – which could have a major negative impact on our ability to do our work. If we fall short, I may not be able to fund our projects at the level staff requested. : / And what am I supposed to cut? Our efforts to support Democratic candidates? Our work to defend and expand voting rights? Our project to stop MAGA Republicans from corrupting election administration? It’s all critical!
