Join Bishop Chilton Knudsen for a Theology Town Hall
The Doctor of Ministry Program at St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute invites you to a Theology Town Hall.
"Leading Leaders in the Wake of Disaster"
featuring:
the Rt. Rev. Chilton Knudsen
Wednesday, October 26th 12-12:50 ET on Zoom
How can a leader be a non-anxious presence for others when a disaster ratchets up their own anxiety?
How does a leader shepherd an organization--and themself--through the panic and disorientation of the first encounter with a crisis?
How can leaders draw on the strengths of their community when that community has been shaken to its core?
The Rt. Rev. Chilton Knudsen served as the 8th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Maine. Since her retirement in 2008 she has served as an interim or assisting bishop in no fewer than six dioceses, including the Diocese of Maryland (2015-2018). Most recently she served as Assisting Bishop of the Diocese of Chicago.
“The thoroughly ecumenical character of the EI classroom makes our D.Min. program especially suitable for priests whose formation took place in a denominational seminary. Each type of learning community has its strengths, and the two complementary experiences make for exceptionally well-rounded clergy-scholars."
The Rev. Jason A. Poling, D.Min.
Director, Doctor of Ministry Program
Ecumenical Officer, Diocese of Maryland
S.T.M., General Theological Seminary, 2015
