It’s not surprising, but it is appalling – the racism and hatred being embraced and used as a political weapon by candidates Ron Johnson and Tim Michels. It’s what MAGA extremist candidates are doing all across the country.
How do we defend against it?
Well, to borrow a phrase you’ve heard before – when they go low, we go high. We lead with love and understanding and resolve.
We go out and talk with people about what’s really on their minds as they go to vote, and why this election matters so much to protect the Wisconsin we love. We show up. Meet people at their front doors, on college campuses, and via their television and computer screens.
We are running our biggest election program ever. In this final stretch toward Election Day on Nov. 8, we’ll share some critical messages you can help convey to voters. You can share these directly on social media and with folks you talk to.
