Day of Action: Saturday, Oct 22nd

Friends, please join us on this Day of Action! Let's have a good El Dorado County turnout to join forces with Folsom voters and at least one bus of canvassers coming from Marin County.

Join us as we knock on doors for Dr Kermit Jones in Folsom and help turn Congressional District 3 BLUE! CD-3 is a very competitive district that Democrats can WIN! We need to ensure that every Democrat votes!

We will hold a short rally at 10am, and everyone will be assigned their walking turf by 10:30am. PLEASE register right away so we can get you signed into PDI Mobile Connect before the event begins.

Help Locally Endorsed Candidates

In this election year, the EDC Democratic Party pledged to help locally endorsed Democratic candidates by providing financial assistance with their filing/candidate statement costs. This year that totals close to $2000.

We have created a 'get away' donation/auction drive to help cover these expenses. A generous local Democrat is offering a one-week stay at a resort hotel in San Diego for the bargain price of $700.

One special donor will receive:

A one-week stay in San Diego, Nov. 12 to 19, 2022 at the Marriott Pulse Hotel, San Diego
One bedroom suite, city view, kitchenette, sleeps up to 4, Gaslight District
The stay is valued at $1700
Not required or expected to attend any promotional presentation, just have fun/relax/enjoy San Diego

The mininum asking donation amount is ~~$1200~~ $700. The first person to donate ~~$1200~~ $700 will be issued a certificate that can be used at the front desk to access your suite.

Candidate Corner

Dr. Kermit Jones is running in an open seat that is considered one of the most competitive in the country. It is on the 'Red to Blue' list, which means that a good Democratic candidate can flip this seat. Kermit is that candidate! This seat will help us maintain control of Congress.

We use an automatic dialer, which means you do not have to spend time dialing the numbers. Training will be provided, and in no time you will be an expert on the system and on Dr. Kermit!

Urs Shuler has volunteered to deliver and install yard signs to your home or business on the West Slope. Signs are available for Tim Robertson (Senate District 4), Mike Barkley (Congressional District 5), Brooke Laine (Board of Supervisors, District 5) and Rebecca Chenoweth (Assembly 5).
