Hello everyone -

Last night, CBS News Colorado aired an expose ([link removed]) on Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser. He is the Chair of the Attorney General Alliance (AGA) -- an organization that hosts lavish events at resorts in Hawaii and allows corporations to buy access to attorneys general across the nation -- all while these same corporations are being sued by the AGs.

The Attorney General Alliance started out as an organization to discuss issues and compare notes among AGs across the nation, but, under Phil Weiser, it has evolved into a "pay to play" organization, funded by taxpayer dollars and corporate sponsorships.

Undercover video ([link removed]) shows Phil Weiser talking, drinking, and wearing leis with the same corporations he was suing on behalf of Colorado. When he returned home from the lavish Hawaii resort, he settled with several opioid companies -- including ones that had attended the AGA event in Hawaii. Other states held out for better deals for the families in their state, but not Phil Weiser.

Many of these same corporations also give political donations to AGs or dark money groups supporting them -- including Phil Weiser. Weiser even held a fundraiser in Hawaii with the same corporations he was suing. And, when asked by CBS, Weiser declined to go on camera to discuss the organization he chairs, the corporations he allows to buy access, or his own corrupt fundraising practices.

It's time to show Phil Weiser that Colorado families deserve more than being sold out to corporations who want to buy access and better settlements. Please turn in your ballot for John Kellner for Attorney General and spread the word to your friends and neighbors. We have to get our Republican candidates elected up and down the ballot.
