Of all the neglected diseases your generosity helps us fight, few are crueler than trachoma. In addition to years of slowly degrading vision, victims must suffer the incessant agony of inward-turning eyelashes scraping across their eyes.
The Carter Center provides training and equipment for eyelid surgeries that end pain and can save eyesight. So far we’ve assisted with more than 800,000 successful surgeries, but thousands of individuals are still waiting for help. Please make a gift now to bring them relief.
