JD Vance can call me a “crazy, lying fraud” all he wants, but the truth is, only one of us has a track record of fighting for Ohio:
 

• While JD was writing a book blaming the working class for their economic struggles, I was working to make sure Ohio kids had access to healthy food.

• While JD was in San Francisco enjoying “tasty brunches, day trips to wine country, and art gallery tours,” I was fighting to protect workers’ pensions.

• While JD was running a scammy, self-serving opioid nonprofit, I was introducing legislation to increase access to addiction treatment.

The truth matters, John—but the GOP is spending $30 million to mislead voters about my record and smear me with lies. Setting the record straight is shaping up to be more expensive than we thought, and I’m really worried that we’ll fall short.
